Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using HibiTrip's apps or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use HibiTrip.

The service

HibiTrip is a travel companion app: an interactive map, wishlists, a record of places you've visited, and AI-assisted recommendations. HibiTrip is currently in active development — features may change, and we'll do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.

Your account

You need an account, created via Sign in with Apple or Google, to use most features. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use HibiTrip for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes on others' rights.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that's abusive, obscene, or infringing.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems.
• Interfere with other users' access to or use of the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of the wishlists, notes, and photos you create in HibiTrip. By adding content, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you as part of the service. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to any content you upload.

Map data

HibiTrip's maps use OpenStreetMap data and contributors, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL), and may use additional tile providers. Map data accuracy is not guaranteed, and it should not be relied on for safety-critical navigation.

Subscriptions

HibiTrip may offer optional paid features in the future. Where applicable, pricing, billing terms, and cancellation policies will be presented to you before purchase and are governed by the terms of the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) you purchased through.

Disclaimer of warranty

HibiTrip is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, HibiTrip and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using HibiTrip and delete your account at any time from the app's Help screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
